The secret is OUT

We've officially announced - we are expecting!

After two good ultrasounds, I finally feel safe enough to tell all our friends and family. Cody wanted to do some big, elaborate announcement, but I didn't. I wanted to keep it simple, so we just snapped a few quick pictures at home and posted them on social media.

The red baby Jordans are from our last pregnancy. Cody had bought them as soon as we found out we were expecting, and I tearfully had stored them away in a basket in our closet when we lost baby #1. But now we have a reason to bring them out again.

Cody is obsessed with Michael Jordan and has an impressive Air Jordan collection to prove it. He bought me pink high top Jordans for our first Christmas together. We wore matching Jordans for our engagement photos.

In fact, his groom's cake for our wedding was even in the shape of an Air Jordan.

Announcing our pregnancy is a milestone that I was eager to reach. Unsurprisingly, we were flooded with so many well-wishes and loving comments. This baby is so loved already.
